OUR TIPS TO MAKE THE NIGHT SPOOKTACULAR

 FASTPASSES

The party officially starts at 7pm, however, party guests can enter the park at 4pm – but that’s not all. You can schedule 3 fastpasses for times between 4pm and 6pm. It’s a great way to get a popular meet and greet in or get on some popular rides that may be closed during the party. Keep in mind that the lines for rides will be much shorter during party hours because there are fewer people in the park. Most people will be attending party events. If you are staying at Disney World for several days, I recommend planning your party night for a day off from the parks or your first night makes it so you get a bonus day in the parks because you will not need a regular park ticket to attend if arrive at 4pm or after.

SECOND PARADE & SHOW

There’s a ton to do at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party from Trick or Treating to a special meet and greets with awful villains. The parade and the show happen twice each party night and I recommend seeing the second one of each. There are fewer people there and this way you can utilize your time early in the night for other party favorites meeting villains like Cruella Deville and Jack. Both the parade and shows are must see We just always opt for the second showing of each.

DRESS UP

One of my favorite things about going to this party is getting to dress up. During normal hours, adults cannot dress up in the park at all and even children’s costumes are limited. Last year my daughter loved Frozen so we all went dressed from Airedale. Lily was Anna I a troll Brandon was Oken and Kash was Kristoff. There is something so magical about being at Disney World in costume and trick or treating.

Bring your own bags

You are given treat bags when they arrive but they are on the smallish side. If your children are there for the loot like mine are, then bring your own bags so they can fill up! Trick-or-treating is Lily’s favorite part of the party, but she loves saying “trick-or-treat”. Candy stations are found throughout the park the lines with get much shorter later in the evening check your map.

  1. Super helpful! I’m assuming WDW Halloween Party mimics Disneyland? I live in CA so I will be attending the DLR Halloween Party.
