Grave Digger Driver Adam Anderson to Meet & Greet with Fans at Ace Cafe Orlando
Four of the show’s biggest stars, the giant monster trucks from Monster Jam®, will be on display in Orlando on Thursday, January 17. For fans, it’s a chance to see and take pictures with the enormous trucks before these beasts roar into Camping World Stadium on Saturday, January 19. Even better, the truck appearances are free to the public.
Monster Jam will feature more than 12 trucks and drivers vying to be the Orlando champion, including: Grave Digger driven by Adam Anderson; El Toro Loco driven by Scott Buetow; Great Clips Mohawk Warrior driven by Bryce Kenny; Brodozer driven by Colt Stephens; Max D and Monster Mutt Dalmatian driven by husband-wife competitive duo Neil Elliott and Candice Jolly; Earthshaker driven by Steven Thompson; Time Flys and Wildflower driven by father-daughter competitors Kelvin and Rosalee Ramer; Xtermigator driven by JR McNeal; Zombie Ice driven by Paul Strong; Saigon Shaker driven by Ryan Disharoon and more. Grave Digger Driver Adam Anderson will be making a special appearance with his truck at Ace Cafe Orlando to meet and greet with fans and sign autographs between 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, Jan. 17. The Ace is offering a special deal for families that night: one free kid’s meal with each adult meal purchased; plus, they can register on site to win one of two prizes, four tickets to the January 19th show and a mini remote control version of Grave Digger.
THURSDAY, JAN. 17 – MONSTER TRUCKS ON DISPLAY in Central Florida
Monster Jam will be performing at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on Saturday, January19, 2019. Gates open at 5 p.m., opening ceremonies are at 6:30 p.m., and racing starts at 7 p.m.
The Monster Jam Pit Party, which will take place on Saturday, January 19, from 2:30-5:30 p.m., provides unprecedented access to the Monster Jam trucks and drivers. This unique experience in the world of motorsports gives fans access to see the trucks up close, take pictures, meet the drivers and get their autographs.
Again for 2019, the Pit Party Early Access Pass is available to every fan who purchases a ticket to the event. The pass provides early entry into the Pit Party from 1:30-2:30 p.m. and serves as the regular Pit Party pass from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Monster Jam drivers will depart from the Pit Party at 5 p.m. The Pit Party Early Access Pass must be accompanied by an event ticket, and quantities are limited.
Monster Jam drivers are trained, world-class male and female athletes who have mastered not only the physical strength and mental stamina needed to compete, but the vital dexterity to control 12,000-pound machines capable of doing backflips, vertical two-wheel skills and racing at speeds up to 70 miles per hour to produce jaw-dropping, live motor sports action seen around the world. Now across all Monster Jam events, fans in every city will have the chance to vote for the winner in the two-wheel and freestyle competitions by real-time, in-stadium fan voting on their smartphones.
Approximately 12 feet tall and about 12 feet wide, Monster Jam trucks are custom-designed machines that sit atop 66-inch-tall tires and weigh a minimum of 10,000 pounds. Built for short, high-powered bursts of speed, Monster Jam trucks generate 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower and are capable of speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. Monster Jam trucks can fly up to 125 to 130 feet (a distance greater than 14 cars side by side) and up to 35 feet in the air.
